Four structured-data formats sit on a typical PDP today. We removed each one in turn from a matched cohort of 200 SKUs and watched what happened to citation share over six weeks.

Result

JSON-LD product schema is the only format that meaningfully moved citation share. Open Graph moved nothing. RDFa moved nothing. ACP enrolment moved share inside ChatGPT specifically and nowhere else.

What this means for your roadmap

If you have to pick one thing to ship this quarter, ship clean, validated, complete JSON-LD on every PDP. Then enrol in ACP. Everything else is rounding.
